Through years of experience JDC have optimised our building process to ensure that you are involved throughout the project, know what to expect and have clear lines of communication.
Every project is unique and has some differences in the process, but we always start with our core process steps.
JDC Building Services meet with you to discuss your project, requirements and expectations. We provide an overview of the services and address any intial questions you may have.
On-site meeting with you to discuss your property, block slope, ideal building orientation and any restrictions/limitations that you will encounter.
We review the intial plan and make any adjustments, then go through your options in different areas (finishing, fixtures etc). From this we are able to establish a ballpark cost and see if that is in line with your budget or whether further design changes are required.
The initial drawings are presented along with budget & costings for your approval before any further work is done on design or any building commences.
Working with you we finalise the design based on the initial working drawings. Here we cover all aspects of the design, inside & out, to create the dream home that fits within the specified budget.
We present all final drawings including necessary engineering and land surveys along with a contract to be signed before we begin construction. Our contracts are easy to understand and use the Housing Industry Association (HIA) standards.
All of the plans come into effect during this building & construction phase. Our team works hard to meet specified timelines and provide excellent workmanship, and will provide you with regular communication throughout the building process.
